EIR (Entrepreneur-in-Residence)

In our investment experience, we came across phenomenal technology entrepreneurs or single founder technology companies which have a strong product/idea but lack the ability to build a strong team and define the market opportunity. In most cases such companies or entrepreneurs are not able to build scalable organizations or attract external capital. We are trying to fill this gap through our EIR program by combining a technology entrepreneur with a market facing entrepreneur to build a more holistic team and provide our network and relationships to help build an early stage startup.

Early Stage (Seed) Funding

We are looking for early stage software technology product startups having balanced teams, a compelling proposition, and a large market opportunity with some proven traction.

Our Background

Kindle Ventures (an incubator) is a part of Kentrus India Fund, a SEBI registered CAT-I, AIF. The fund managers have independently spent over 20 years in a combination of investment management, financial services and technology industries in the United States and India. The fund managers have managed an earlier fund of ~$100M, delivering over 20% gross annualized IRR and a proprietary technology investment record of 3-4x MOIC. The fund management team personnel have been part of established private equity funds, and have been startup entrepreneur in Silicon Valley. Our Team has managed to make $1B+ exits from previous investment. Additionally, The fund is advised and guided by a strong set of advisors and directors that have served as board members in Fortune 100 Indian companies, led some of the largest institutions as managing directors and chairmen and have strong expertise in alternative investments.
